Properties of our cannabis Oils:
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound of the Cannabis plant. It is part of the family of over 100 cannabinoids in the plant that interact with our bodies in a very special way. It has many properties and benefits, and due to its non-addictive, non-psychotropic effect and greater tolerance, it has attracted greater therapeutic and medicinal interest. Beemine Lab’s CBD oil is available in different concentrations to suit the needs and experience of users. Here are the products we have available:
In its report on cannabidiol, the WHO states that there is currently scientific evidence of its effectiveness for a variety of conditions and pathologies, including: Inflammatory diseases:
As mentioned above, cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid, i.e. a cannabinoid found in cannabis. However, these types of compounds are not exclusive to this plant, our body also produces similar compounds naturally (endocannabinoids), which, through receptors, can be activated or regulated by phytocannabinoids. In addition, our body has a receptor system that interacts particularly with the plant: the endocannabinoid system. This system is responsible for homeostasis, i.e. the balance or regulation of our body’s physiological functions: sleep, stress, pain, inflammation, cell and fat production, appetite, etc. It consists of a series of receptors:
These receptors, together with CBD, act indirectly or directly on the central and peripheral nervous system, digestive and reproductive systems, etc. Thus helping our body to maintain a state of balance. These oils are ideal for pain, a natural remedy for muscle and joint pain, but also for skin conditions related to inflammation or cell and fat production such as atopic dermatitis, mild psoriasis or acne.
CBD oil, as a general rule, starts working 10-30 minutes after use, and its effects last between 3-6 hours. However, this can vary depending on the size of the product and the route of administration. In addition, everybody is different, metabolism, weight and frequency of use also influence how it affects us.
Experts advise starting with a small amount (1-2 drops) and increasing and regulating the amount until you find the desired effect with the minimum effective dose.
External (topical) use does not enter the bloodstream and therefore does not interact with other medications. In any case, if you are using a topical treatment or are interested in other routes of administration and you are taking other medication, consult your specialist or a medical cannabis program such as SmokingMap.
If you are starting to use CBD, we recommend starting with a low concentration oil such as our 10% CBD oil. You can start with a few drops and gradually monitor the effects and adjust the amount. Keep the same amount and frequency of use for 5 days before gradually increasing until you find the ideal amount.
The process of making our CBD oil begins with the processing of cannabis flowers to obtain the CBD and the European certified hemp seed oil as the vehicle for it. Our Cannabidiol is processed with isopropyl alcohol. Isopropyl alcohol is considered a safe means of extraction and the process is biologically accepted and does not contain any toxic substances. In this way, we ensure that we have pure, high quality CBD.
The best place to store it is in the refrigerator. You can find the expiry date on the label of the bottle. Once opened, consume within 12 months. In order to preserve its properties correctly, it is best to keep it in a clean and cool place, without direct light, and to avoid exposing it to temperatures above 30º C or mixing it with other products at over 40-50º C.
CBD oil can be purchased legally in Europe and the United States, as long as the product contains less than 0.02% THC. All The Beemine Lab oils have been externally analysed to ensure these cannabinoid ratios and they all come in bottles of 10ml maximum, so they fit within the standards of carry-on luggage. They can all be carried on the plane. In any case, we recommend that you check the national or local legislation of the region you intend to travel to before purchasing or transporting it.
Our CBD oils meet the legal THC limit required in Spain (less than 0.2% THC). In fact, our oils contain less than 0.01%. However, drug tests are not homogeneous and the THC threshold may vary. If you are concerned, we recommend that you consult a doctor or your employer and do not use CBD products until this issue is resolved. CBD oil is a product in which cannabidiol (CBD), an active ingredient in cannabis, is combined with another type of oil, usually of vegetable origin.
The use of ingested/sublingual CBD is not regulated in Spain. Therefore, we do not recommend or market our products for this purpose. However, our CBD oils are non-toxic, do not contain pesticides and their ingredients are 100% of vegetable origin (Cannabidiol, sunflower oil, hemp oil and vitamin E). To find out more, read our article on the side effects of CBD.
They both come from the same plant: Cannabis Sativa L. This plant consists of the leaves, stem, flowers and seeds. Phytocannabinoids such as CBD are mainly present in the flower, also called “bud”. These components are present in the rest of the plant but in trace amounts. Hemp seed oil, as the name suggests, is obtained by cold pressing the seeds. The result is an oil without cannabinoids, but very rich in essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6) and with moisturising and anti-inflammatory properties. The two ingredients, cannabidiol, sunflower oil enriched with vitamin E (to prevent oxidation of the product) and hemp oil, are integrated through a blending process in which the latter acts as a carrier oil for the CBD. This is how our CBD oil is obtained.
Both are obtained from the cannabis flower. Their difference lies only in the fact that THC is psychoactive and addictive, while CBD is non-psychoactive and non-addictive. Another distinguishing feature that has led to increased medicinal and therapeutic interest is that CBD is also non-toxic and well-tolerated at high doses. This safety profile makes CBD a natural wellness option for thousands of users of different ages around the world.
If you want to combine CBD oil to enhance its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, we have CBD Cold Affect Balm if you need a quick and especially anti-inflammatory effect. And CBD Massage Oil for sports massages with extra repair and relief. For dermatological treatment of dry or sensitive skin, you’ll also find low concentration CBD oil, such as our 3% CBD oil, as well as CBD and honey moisturiser, CBD Lipbalm and Hani+: a blend of rosemary honey and CBD.
