Definitely not. One of the most frequently asked questions about CBD is: „Is CBD going to get me high?“ The ingested / sublingual use of CBD * does not produce the psychoactive effect associated with THC. On the contrary, CBD antagonizes the psychotomimetic (psychotic) effects that THC produces.

The WHO recognizes its medicinal and therapeutic potential in addition to pointing out that it is not dangerous or more addictive than a placebo. The use of topical CBD does not generate levels of CBD in the blood so the beneficial psychoactive effects associated with ingested use are completely ruled out (anxiolytic, anti-nausea, etc.) Read more * This mode of use is not regulated in ICELAND nor the major part of the EU.

CBD works by regulating the endocannabinoid system. This system is responsible for modulating our sleep, appetite, stress, anxiety, mood, immune system, reproduction, memory, pain, inflammation and more. CBD interacts with the receptors present in our skin and our body. It begins to regulate so that our body can reach optimal balance. When our physiological functions achieve balance and our body functions optimally, our stress and anxiety levels decrease, our mood improves, and our immune system response improves. Read more.

Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds within the Cannabis Sativa L plant. There are more than 113 cannabinoids, which have been discovered to date. Cannabinoids have a variety of benefits and many of them do not produce the same psychoactive effect as THC. Those that have been studied the most are CBD and THC, however there are now more studies on CNG, CBN and the precursors of THC and CBD such as THCA and CBDA. It should be noted that our body naturally produces cannabinoids (or endocannabinoids) in our Endocannabinoid System. Read more.

The endocannabinoid system is an intercellular communication system present in our body and it is through which we synthesize cannabinoids. It is made up of receptors, endocannabinoids (cannabinoids produced by our body), and enzymes. Our endocannabinoid system, or ECS, is the master regulator of various systems and organs. It is present and regulates a wide number of physiological and cognitive processes. Read more.

In EU / ESB (Iceland & Spain), products with CBD, and in general those derived from Cannabis, must contain less than 0.2% THC. Currently the only regulated use is external use, therefore, CBD oils, CBD edibles and other formats for ingested use cannot be marketed or recommended. Within the EU, legislation is diverse and depends on how CBD is used: While in Spain & Iceland only topical use is regulated, (use as cosmetics, external use) in countries like Switzerland or Portugal buying and consuming CBD orally is legal. Outside the EU in countries like the UK, USA or Canada, CBD is marketed both for external use and for internal use, that is to say topical and ingested / sublingual. Read more.

We use both oils, but they are very different.

They both come from the same plant but not from the same part. Within the Cannabis Sativa L plant there are several different parts: The seed, the leaf, the stem and the flower. Cannabinoids are present mainly in the flower, in other parts you’ll find very low levels of cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, THC ect.

Hemp seed oil is made by cold-pressing the seeds of the Cannabis sativa L plant, therefore it contains hardly any cannabinoids, however Hemp seed oil is rich in fatty acids which also offers relief and hydration to the skin.

CBD oil, is extracted from the flower and mixed with a carrier oil such as hemp seed oil.

According to Fundación Canna, CBD ingested (not regulated in Spain) can produce mild or moderate adverse effects that „improve with a reduction in the dose of CBD and disappear when the administration is suspended“. […] „When CBD is used in therapeutic doses, a feeling of tiredness, drowsiness, dry mouth, headaches, dizziness and decreased appetite may occur.“

Our CBD is processed using a patented method with Isopropyl Alcohol. Isopropyl alcohol is an organically accepted medium and is free of toxins.

This way we isolate the CBD and make sure that it does not contain other cannabinoids and therefore lacks psychomimetic effects.

Our products comply with the THC limit required in ESB / EU, which is less than 0.2% THC, specifically our oils contain less than 0.01%, however a positive test is still possible.

Drug tests are not uniform, and the threshold for THC that would produce a positive result is stricter for some tests than others.

We recommend consulting with your doctor or your employer, or not using CBD products if this concerns you.

We collaborate with sustainable beekeeping projects allocating part 10% of our profits to their maintenance and activity through the sponsorship of hives.

Sustainable and ecological beekeeping carries out hive maintenance and material extraction processes that prioritize animal welfare as well as the stability and increase of the bee population.

These are projects where the ultimate goal is to protect and increase the bee population. They are located in areas away from pollution and crops with possible pesticides, etc. To cover the maintenance and work of the people involved, these types of projects are maintained thanks to donations and the bee by-products that they produce, honey, propolis, beeswax ect.

The honey is obtained without using synthetic products and with responsable extraction techniques that prioritize animal welfare (prioritizing the feeding and balance of the hive). During the winter, there are no extractions nor are food substitutes used so as to respect the natural processes of the hive.

By buying our products you are supporting sustainable beekeeping projects. We allocate 10% of all profits to adopting hives.
