Beekeeping derivatives have great healing potential and very important nutritional properties . Like Cannabis , honey has been used for more than 8,000 years due to its important benefits for our body. They are two substances whose union offers us antiviral, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and highly nutritive properties . We are the first company in Europe to combine beekeeping and cannabis. Beekeeping derivatives combined with CBD achieve a natural synergy that enhances their common benefits and the activity of the Endocannabinoid System, which plays a fundamental role in the balance of our immune system. Learn about the properties and benefits of honey and cannabis. The properties and benefits of combining honey with CBD are:

CBD

Both the famous THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (Cannabidiol) are cannabinoids, natural compounds that are present in the Cannabis Sativa L plant . Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid (phyto=derived from plants) that is very promising in terms of its medicinal and therapeutic use, as it has a multitude of benefits and properties, including its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, antibacterial and anxiolytic effects.

Derivatives of beekeeping

Honey, beeswax, propolis and even venom … Each of these substances has a function for the hive and has various benefits for humans. These bee derivatives come from the natural activity of bees and many of them have been collected and used by humans as medicinal therapies for more than 8,000 years. The substances produced by one of the most important living beings in the world, bees, have antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties . These properties make honey an essential food when it comes to strengthening our immune system .

Honey and CBD, a powerful union

The synergy between beekeeping derivatives and cannabis derivatives offers us a powerful union with a multitude of properties. To make our products we use honey, beeswax and propolis (coming soon) but today we will focus mainly on the benefits of honey.
  • Anti-inflammatory: Both honey and cannabis have anti-inflammatory properties that relieve the symptoms of topical ailments such as dermatitis, eczema and acne and inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, lupus, uveitis... Together they offer a natural and effective anti-inflammatory remedy to reduce and relieve these symptoms that cause everything from itching to pain, fever, diarrhea, etc.
  • Antioxidant: Honey, like cannabis, prevents the formation of oxides and slows down cell decomposition. CBD also contains antioxidant properties that help us directly combat skin aging. So together they significantly benefit the immune system and can prevent and reduce aging , but they also reduce the chances of developing heart disease.
  • Antibacterial and antiseptic: One of the most important properties of honey is its antiseptic properties, which are essential for the survival of the hive. CBD has a bactericidal capacity that, according to studies, surpasses commonly used antibiotics. These properties make honey an ideal natural exfoliant for the treatment of acne and CBD a perfect complement to cleanse and moisturize our skin. Together they are a powerful dietary supplement that strengthens our response to infections and bacteria.
  • Fatty acids + Essential amino acids: Our body produces half of the amino acids we need, the rest are found in legumes, meat, vegetables... Honey is the only food that contains all the essential amino acids and Cannabis is also rich in these substances that allow the durability and sustainability of this plant. CBD oil also provides these substances that are so important for sports recovery and muscle growth. Together they are a superfood that provides us with all the essential amino acids so necessary to synthesize the proteins we consume correctly ; they are something like the bricks that build proteins.
