How CBD benefits physical activity
CBD is a powerful anti-inflammatory , like the well-known Reflex, but natural and with all the properties of CBD: analgesic, anxiolytic, antioxidant as well as being rich in amino acids.
Sometimes after exercising we feel a small surge of energy, that is probably because our body produces serotonin giving us this brief feeling of euphoria, we can enhance this feeling through the endocannabinoid system, so that the post-workout is much more pleasant. CBD after physical activity relaxes the muscles, relieves inflammation and soothes the pain of injuries. These properties of CBD are what help athletes during their physical conditioning.
It has two uses: topical and ingestible.
The first one
is interesting for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, making it highly restorative for injuries or chronic pain. It has a high nutritional content and antioxidants that help care for the skin.
Ingestion is not regulated in Spain.
It has a greater effect and with its relaxing and analgesic properties it can change the user's experience when doing sports. It is also
rich in vitamins and minerals necessary after physical activity, to have a more bearable recovery.
But what is CBD?
Along with the famous THC, CBD is one of the most important components of the cannabis plant , its concentration varies depending on the strain. It can be very abundant or very low.
Unlike THC, which is psychoactive, CBD does not get you high . It is the cannabinoid that is recognized as having the most benefits for the treatment of some symptoms and diseases. CBD acts on the endocannabinoid system, involved in many of the key mechanisms of skin regulation , specifically, sensory stimuli such as pain and itching ,
immune and inflammatory responses , lipid synthesis (i.e. sebum production) and control of epidermal growth .

What the WHO says
The World Health Organization's Expert Committee on Drug Dependence met in Geneva, Switzerland, from November 6 to 10, 2019, to discuss CBD. Last December, the organization published a three-page report outlining the conclusions of cannabidiol experts .
In addition to recognizing the potential of CBD in the treatment of epilepsy and other diseases , it recalls that "it is not on the list of the United Nations International Drug Control Conventions of 1961, 1971 or 1988." In other words: the United Nations does not consider this cannabinoid from marijuana a drug . This report from the World Health Organization represents an important step on the path of medicinal cannabis as it opens the door to new research based on the therapeutic potential of CBD.
